Kenneth Wilgus, Ph.D.

Dr. Ken Wilgus is a licensed psychologist who specializes in the treatment of adolescents and their families, Christian couples therapy and individual therapy with adults.  He maintains a private, outpatient practice in association with Preston Family Practice, an office with several other therapists who specialize in work with children, adolescents, families and individual therapy and evaluation.

Dr. Wilgus has been a consultant with several area school districts as well as private schools.  He is on the Board of Directors for St. Timothy Academy in Plano and the Board of Trustees for the Celeste Independent School District.  Additionally, Dr. Wilgus conducts seminars throughout the year focusing on parenting adolescents as well as marriage communication and enrichment.


Dr. Wilgus received his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin and Clinical Internship at Michael Reese Medical Center in Chicago.  He received a Masters degree in School Psychology from Trinity University in San Antonio after completing his Bachelor's degree from Baylor University.  He was formerly the Director of Psychology for the Child and Adolescent Department at the Minirth-Meier Clinic.
